Truly Impressed By Vatrenis Performance Yesterday (video)

All of our players performed well yesterday but a few did exceptionally well…Corluka and Mandzukic are the ones that cross my mind and deserve some extra credit. But as mentioned the whole team executed Bilic plan perfectly.  

 

I can’t remember when or even if I ever have been extremely disappointed with a referee when “my team” wins 3-0…But yesterday I got to be just that! The referee is basically the only thing leaving a bad taste after yesterday’s fantastic performance, making me suspect UEFA wishes to see Turkey rather than Croatia in EURO 2012! Football on this level for sure involves some heavy politics…and it wouldn’t be the first time, a referee “decides the outcome” of a match! Us receiving the first yellow card in yesterday’s game was and still is a joke!

 

90 minutes remain, we can’t afford to forget that! All of us but especially the players have to remember EURO 2008 when “we lost it all” in the final second! I’m quite certain Bilic wont be having any problems convincing our players they not only have a responsibility to honor our supporters on Tuesday but that we still “theoretically” can lose it all…90 minutes of football remains, but those 90 minutes are played on home soil and there is only one team that have beaten us in Maksimir...

 

Things look truly good and my guess is that the Turks themselves don’t believe they are able to beat us 3-0 or more …after their performance yesterday!

 

Yesterdays goals…I simply don’t get tired of watching them :)
