The Croatian players continues to have bad luck as the Spurs were dealt a major blow when Niko Kranjcar was ruled out of the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
Niko sustained ligament damage during extra-time of the FA Cup semi-final defeat by Portsmouth and has since been using crutches and wearing a protective boot on his left foot.

As always with injury's there is no telling when Kranjcar will be back, what is certain though is that the injury will require an operation and boss Harry Redknapp describes the injury  as “long term”,  this is of course a big setback for Tottenham.

Kranjcar who started out quite slow in Tottenham has had a dazzeling period for quite some time now (scoring eight goals) and hopefully he will be fully recovered after the summer .

“Vedran Corluka is also struggling with a bad ankle but according to Harry Redknapp he might be playing for the Spurs already this season.”

Despite the injury problems, boss Redknapp is still enjoying the good results by Tottenham in the last few games, beating Arsenal and Chelsea. He was especially happy with the game against Chelsea,  when Harry Redknapp was interviewed after the Chelsea game he praised Luka Modric for his performance. Now let's hope "knock on wood" at least Modric can finish this season without any "major" injuries.
